Your Homeowner's Insurance Does Not Cover Flood...
......but Flood Insurance Does!
"Floods can happen anytime, anywhere. They cause physical, emotional, and financial anguish
- especially when victims realize the damage is not
covered by their homeowners insurance policy.
Federal disaster assistance is not the answer. Why? In most cases, the only aid disaster victims may qualify for is a loan, and that must be repaid, with interest!
Only Federal flood insurance reimburses you for flood damage to your property. With one annual premium, you can protect your most important investment: your home or business and its contents.
Call us today to ask about the National Flood Insurance Program. There is no better way to save for a rainy day!" (781-828-2398)

MASSACHUSETTS ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT AGENTS (MAIA) FLASH BULLETIN: MARCH 20, 2009
"Joint Committee on Financial Services Holds Hearing on MAIA’s Bill to Preserve At-Fault Accident Appeal Process;
Commissioner Reverses Decision to Eliminate Board of Appeals
Shortly before the scheduled hearing on MAIA’s bill to preserve consumers’ rights to appeal an accident surcharge to the Board of Appeals, Insurance Commissioner Nonnie Burnes issued the following statement reversing her decision to abolish the Board of Appeals:
Statement from Nonnie S. Burnes, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Division of Insurance:
“As a part of these changes, the Division of Insurance proposed an alternative means of addressing at-fault accidents and accident disputes to replace the Board of Appeals as currently structured. We had every confidence that this new plan would protect consumers and offer them a fair resolution; however, we have heard the concerns voiced by the general public. Responding to those concerns, today we are announcing that we are maintaining the Board of Appeals and its accident resolution review process. We look forward to continuing the progress that managed competition has already demonstrated and ensuring consumers experience every benefit the competitive market has to offer.”
